Bollywood, continuing in its tradition produced several big and low budget movies in 2010. Now that 2010 generic lexapro is a year behind us, I tally my records and present to you a list of top ten Bollwood movies of the year. This past year has been especially s
urprising to film pundits, teaching us all that sometimes small budget movies and unconventional scripts can do as good as(if not better than) high budget productions from ace production houses. 1 Dabangg – Dabangg will be remembered for a number of things including the biggest gross box office collection, Abhinav Kashyap’s directorial debut, Arbaaz Khan’s debut as a producer, Sonaksi Sinha’s Bollywood debut and not to forget Mailaka Arora’s cult song ‘Munni Badnam hui. 2 Rajneeti – This movie showed that Bollywood is not just about dancing around the trees and wooing heroines with songs. Prakash Jha’s Rajneeti ushers the audience into a political drama which forces all of us to think about the present state of government. Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif testify to be more than nexium generic just pretty faces with their powerful performances in the movie. Intrestlingy, Rajneeti is closely intertwined with the political history of our

My name is Khan marked the return of much loved Shahrukh-Kajol couple after an extended hiatus. It also showed that Karan Johar, as a director is capable of directing movies on touching topics in addition to his trademark family based scripts. 4 Peepli Live – A satire on media ethics and farmer suicides in India, Peepli Live became India’s claim to an Oscar. Although Peepli did not win an award at the Oscars, it will be remembered for the years to come, thanks to its unflinching portrayal of Indian villages. Once again Amir Khan made a gamble by making a film on a totally unconventional topic and once again the result sparkles. 5 Once Upon a Time in Mumbai – This movie is perhaps the most credible performance of Imran Hashmi’s otherwise Notorious Career. The movie captures the underworld in its essence. Ajay Devagan and Imran Hashmi gave the characters of Haji Mastan and Dawood Ibrahim lifeblood. Dawood and Mastan, who till now have been only names to us were personified by the actors in the movie. ‘Once Upon a Time in Mumbai’ also bought Retro back to Indian fashion. 6 Aisha – I know that a number of people will argue that Aisha doesn’t deserve to be on this list. However, it brings to Bollywood a whole new genre of movies which are centred on luxurious lives of independent women and their search for love and a career. Aisha is most righteously India’s answer to Sex and the City and the Shopaholic series. The beautiful clothes and accessories are enough to lighten up any one’s mood. 7 Guzaarish – Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s commercial movie with artistic inclinations, Guzaarish presents some unconventional dialogues and scenes. Guzaarsih is beacon of typical Bhansali movie, with beautiful sets, bright colours and a central theme of love. Hritik Roshan steps into the shoes of a rather candid, if invalid genius. Watch this one for the beautiful scenes and heart touching emotions. 8 Love Sex aur Dhoka

– Another shocker on our list of top 10 movies of Bollywood. This one gets the place for the head on approach of the subject. I mean, exactly how many Bollywood movies do you know with the S word in their title. In a country where government needs to broadcast advertisements to persuade the population to not to shy away from asking for a condom, Love, Sex aur Dhoka is bound to open new door. 9 Golamaal 3 – No Bollywood fiscal is complete without its doze of comedy movies. This year bought us another movie from Rohan Sippy’s Golmaal Franchise. Watch this one for laughter that threatens to crack your ribs. 10 Tere Bin Laden – A small budget comedy featuring Ali Asghar managed to attract attention in film circles. The name of the movie, which includes the name of a ghastly terrorist, is a
stark irony to its genre, comedy. Tere Bin Laden taught that good movies don’t necessarily come from staggering budgets and a comedy can be successful even without relying on run-of-the-mill jokes. Alas! There are only 10 slots in a top 10 list and we regret missing a few names including Houseful, Kites, Raavan and a few others. Agree or disagree with my choice? Do let me know.
