Hrithik Roshan and the month of January go hand in hand like tea and sugar. His debut Kaho Na Pyaar Hai back in 2001 had released in the month of January, and so did the remake of Agneepath in 2012. So he will indeed be looking to repeat those successes with his next big January release Kaabil.
Directed by Sanjay Gupta and produced by Rakesh Roshan, Kaabil will feature Hrithik Roshan, paired opposite Yami Gautam, and tells the tale of a blind man who wants to take vengeance, after a terrible incident had taken place which put his love interest in danger and turned his life upside down. The movie also stars Rohit Roy and Ronit Roy. Kaabil’s movie trailer was released on Youtube on October 26.

The first song from the movie, Kaabil Hoon, was also released on Youtube. It is sung by Zubin Nautiyal and Palak Muchhal, and composed by Rajesh Roshan. The video shows the endearing side of Hrithik Roshan’s character, in very sweet moments involving himself and Yami Gautam.

Hrithik reportedly announced that he was going to take a break from his movies promotions from December 19 to January 2, as he will be holidaying with his sons and skiing in the Swiss alps.
The second official trailer of Kaabil was released on Tuesday 20th December 2016. It features the theme of vengeance in a more prominent manner, and Hrithik Roshan’s character goes all guns blazing, to take revenge on a personal tragedy which seemed to have occurred to him and his wife. Having an even darker and an even more intense tone than the first trailer, this one features a sad version of Kaabil’s title track. Almost seeming like it was a response to Shahrukh Khan’s “Aa Raha Hoon” line in the Raees trailer, this one ends with Hrithik saying: “Aayega na? Darrega toh nahin?”
