Kahaani 2 is a thriller movie directed and produced of Sujoy Ghosh and Jyantilal Gada. When people came to know about Kahaani 2 they started assuming that it is a sequel of Kahaani directed by Sujoy Ghosh and Jyantilal Gada in 2012. But Kahaani 2 is not a sequel of Kahaani actually….but it is the next installment from the same brand. Kahaani got the huge success on the box office in 2012. Because of this, people’s expectation from Kahaani 2 was very high.
Vidya always does something different from other Bollwood actress that’s why people always wait for her movies. She always comes in a new look. As the protagonist of Kahaani 2, Vidya has done a fantastic and marvelous role in the movie. The entire movie makes the people curious about the next scene. Kahaani 2 talks about the child sexual abuse, which is actually a serious matter of our society. The movie very beautifully described the emotions and condition of such children who faces these things in their childhood. The movie tells how their own family members break the trust and ruins the life of children. People think that their children are safe with the neighbors and the family members but this movie reveals the truth of Indian society. The story feels real and makes people emotional.
The story gives a beautiful description of today’s life and connects the audience with the story. The movie deals with the realistic trauma and problems of our society. Where girls don’t feel themselves safe and secure. The movie truly focuses on the child sexual abuse and tells us how we deal with it. Kahaani 2 gives the strong message to the audience that how we stop it and what should we do to stop all these things from our society and makes girls and child feel secure and safe.
Kahaani 2 revolves around the single mother Vidya Sinha (Vidya Balan) and her daughter Mini who leave in Chandan Nagore. Their live goes peacefully and normal. Suddenly their live take a drastic change when Vidya Sinha has a road accident and she has to hospitalize and a cop (Arjun Rampal) enters in their live for investigating about the accident. While investigating about the accident many secrets come in front of cop which makes him confusing about the Vidya. From that point movie takes another twist and shifts towards the suspense.
You should watch this movie for it’s gripping suspense and thriller scenes. After each and every scene, the story takes a different turn. So if you like thrillers, do give this one a try.
