Luck by Chance is the upcoming movie of acclaimed Director, Writer, Actor and Singer – Farhan Akhtar. The movie also stars National Award winning Konkona Sen Sharma as the female lead. The movie has been directed by Zoya Akhtar and is slated for release this January.

Baawre is a nice composition which features ‘desi beats’ coupled with excellent vocals and a stunning music sequence comprising of table, piano and clapping. Indian instruments and classical vocals at a high tempo give Baawre give a catchy tune overall.

The remixed version of Baawre is nothing short of creative excellence however one could definitely do without it as there are few changes. Noticeable ones are the use of electronic mixers to impart a western feel to the original track.

No SEL album is complete by a song composed on guitar. O Rahi Re opens with a nice guitar riff which carries throughout. Shanker Mahadevan has sung the song in his soulful voice and what we get overall is another essential track of Luck by Chance.

Pyaar Ki Dastaan is a love song featuring romantic vocals by both the singers. Amit Paul is in fact of ‘Indian Idol’ fame and together, they do complete justice to the beautifully composed music.

Perhaps the best track of ‘Luck By Chance’, this track is pure genius. It features Indian classical singing, fusion music, electronic riffs, along with a few Indian instruments all playing together in timed sequences which deliver a brilliant track in the end. Phew! This composition has also been used in Luck by Chance promos.

A feel good track about life and what can happen in a day, Yeh Aaj Kya Ho Gaya is a smooth number, though not their best. Mixed opinions will rise about the song and so its difficult to say whether it will be a hit or not. Sunidhi Chauhan is as usual amazing.

A nice number, I really cannot think of much to say of this track. It has certain monotony in its tune which why it is not as good to listen as the other tracks. However, give this a shot and you might life it for the music.
