Back in 2001, a south Indian superstar entered the Hindi cinema and stole the hearts of many in the audiences. It was R. Madhavan in the film ‘Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein.’ Ever since, he did a few films in this industry where he didn’t have the lead role, but you just could not ignore him.
In a recent interview the actor seemed to be too excited for the success of the film ‘3 Idiots.’ He said, “I am really enjoying this part of my career in the Hindi film industry. The film makers are kind to me and they offer me roles that have an author backing.”
He further said, “I have to be choosy when it comes to Hindi films. The fact that I have done only a few of them after 2001 explains my worth.”
It’s true his roles in the films like ‘Guru’ and ‘Rang De Basanti’ were quite intriguing. His next release is ‘Teen Patti’ where the show stealers are supposed to be megastar Amitabh Bachchan and Ben Kingsley. Just like the show stealer in ‘3 Idiots’ was Aamir Khan.
