Child actors are playing wonders these days on the small as well as the big screen. One such wonder boy is Darsheel Safary. His performance of a dyslexic child in Aamir Khan’s ‘Taare Zameen Par’ had left the Bollywood as well as the audience simply startled.
Now this wonder boy is going to hit the big screen again with a bang. At the tender age of 13, he has become the youngest super hero of the world ‘Zokkomon.’ He is playing the lead role in Walt Disney’s first live action movie that also stars Anupam Kher and Manjiri Phadnis. Its music is composed by the trio of Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy while lyrics are written by Javed Akhtar.
The kid is quite excited for this role and says, “I loved flying across the buildings and rescuing people in the film. What’s more, I now have my own cape like Superman. After Taare… I really intended to do something big, and so this is just perfect!”
Lawyer turned director Satyajit Bhatkal is all praises for the young actor. Commenting on his experience with Darsheel he said, “He is a fun child to work with. He behaves truly like a kid and so I had to actually treat him like one!”
